This past weekend Kevin Porter and Chicago local rider Matt Meckley drove down to New Castle to check out the shop, hang out, and ride. On Sunday we decided to head over to Columbus, Ohio for a BMX competion. It was a good time minus Kevin rolling his ankle. Heal up soon buddy!

Jeff K's Mankind ad

HS team rider Jeff Klugiewicz has a full page ad in the latest issue of Dig BMX Magazine issue #067. This ad is with Mankind advertising Jeff's signature frame titled, "Forward," which is available here at Hardcore Sportz.

A Weekend in Cincinnati

Last weekend Scott Steele and myself, along with Chris Mahaffey and Sunday flow rider Alex Magallan decided to go to Cincinnati for a short filming trip. Alex and myself would be doing some last minute filming for the Sunday Bikes DVD and Scott would be filming for HS, while Chris handled all the filming. We started on Friday. Although it was rainy, we were able to ride some street and then headed to Ollie's Skatepark for a night session.

On Saturday we went out and headed to downtown and met up with HS team rider Doug Horton. The weather being cold and windy made it a little hard to get motivated, but we were able to get some riding in. After a few hours of riding and hanging out it became dark and all of us jumped in the car and drove back to New Castle. Thanks to Tony Neyer for having us at his house and being our tour guide. It was a short, but fun weekend.
